AltStore 1.5.1b is an iOS app that lets you use your Apple ID to sideload other apps (.ipa files) onto your iOS device. AltStore resigns apps with your personal development certificate and sends them to AltServer, a desktop app that uses iTunes WiFi sync to install the resigned apps back to your device. When you’re on the same WiFi network as AltServer, AltStore will periodically reload your apps in the background to keep them from expiring.
Fortunately, the AltStore team issued a hotfix in the form of AltStore 1.5.1b for everyone who installed macOS Monterey 12.5 beta, which, according to a Tweet shared Wednesday, is now available to everyone.
This version just adds macOS Monterey 12.5 compatibility to the Mail app plug-in so that it works properly when attempting to side-load programs, as indicated in the somewhat tiny change report for AltStore 1.5.1b.

Users will, of course, need to upgrade the Mail app plug-in as well. Following the update, a pop-up similar to the one below appears:
AltServer is a vital component of the AltStore platform that runs in the background on your computer to allow you to sideload apps that aren’t accessible on Apple’s App Store using your Apple ID.
Although AltStore is most typically used to sideload jailbreak programs such as Taurine and unc0ver, it may also be used to sideload ordinary apps.
This update will not be available for Windows machines because it is just for the Mail app on macOS Monterey 12.5. It’s worth noting that macOS Monterey 12.5 is still in beta, although anyone on macOS Monterey 12.5 and earlier can get the upgrade today.
Simply go to Check for Updates. from the AltServer Menu Bar icon on your Mac to get the newest update. The update should be found automatically, and it should take less than a minute to install.
What is New AltStore 1.5.1b?
1: Fixes app crashing at launch on devices running iOS 15 or earlier.
2: If currently on iOS 13, manually update AltStore by reinstalling with AltServer. You do not need to delete AltStore first.
After following the steps in that order you should have successfully bypassed iCloud on your device. If not make sure you followed it correctly.
