The good news is that Apple has just published Apple iOS 15.4, iPadOS 15.4, tvOS 15.4, its first major software upgrade of the year. The release is, however, only a major version number update.

Apple seeds third betas of Apple continues to move forward with the beta testing process as we get closer to the estimated March release date. As a result, we now have new beta seeds available for developers. And, eventually, public testers. and watchOS 8.5 to developers.

Developers, on the other hand, have fresh software to test for the time being. The third betas of iOS 15.4, iPadOS 15.4, macOS Monterey 12.3, tvOS 15.4, and watchOS 8.5 were released by Apple on Tuesday. It’s not meant to be downloaded and installed on a daily driver, as is customary with prerelease software. Despite the fact that this is the third wave of betas, the program may still be a little rough around the edges. This can make daily use a little more difficult. For registered developers, the software is available.

In terms of what’s new, this beta seed doesn’t appear to provide much in the way of value for the end-user. However, we do know that Apple is introducing some new ingredients to the mix. With the imminent release of iOS 15.4, Apple is setting the basis for even more sports information to be added to the Apple News app.

The only noteworthy change in iOS 15.4 is a remedy for a Safari bug that allowed your browser history and Google ID to be disclosed to websites you accidentally visited.

The first person who uncovers the flaw was fingerprinted, who built a webpage to spread the word about the now-fixed issue.

Our thoughts: Does anyone else find it strange that Apple devoted what is usually a significant 15. x version to solely resolve one issue? Maybe Apple pushed back other features to get this out the door sooner? Regardless of the reason (which we’ll probably never know), you should upgrade your gadgets as soon as feasible.
