If you’re an Apple customer, you’ve probably noticed some issues with Apple Music Down with the App Store or Apple Music. Apple’s system status page on Monday mentioned faults affecting “all users” for both services since 11:41 a.m. ET, but did not go into depth regarding the issues. The App Store and Apple Music were both basically functional in our tests, however, consumers reported issues for several hours until they were addressed.

Apple’s Privacy Labels weren’t showing up on many App Store listings, according to 9to5Mac, which cited a source who confirmed it was a glitch that will be resolved soon.

A number of Apple device owners are currently unable to utilize Apple Music, and there are several complaints about the outage on Twitter and other social media platforms. At roughly 8:40 a.m. Pacific Time, Apple updated the System Status page to identify an issue, but users have been experiencing issues for much longer.

The App Store is also down, which could explain why privacy labels on the App Store mysteriously vanished earlier this morning.

There’s no news  Apple Music Down on when Apple will fix the problem, but we’ll update this post once Apple Music and the App Store are back up and running.

Apple Music is missing lyric information, Dolby Atmos, and lossless audio from tracks where those features should be there, according to Reddit users, and some are unable to play music even if it has been downloaded to their local storage for offline listening. Some users reported that logging in and out fixed the lost lossless audio features but not the lyrics. We were able to validate the problem by looking at the lyrics, which are presented below.

Apple’s status page has now been updated, indicating that both services’ issues have been fixed. The issue’s timeline has been changed to 4:15 AM – 12:02 PM, which may match what customers saw if it’s set to Pacific Time. The lyrics features are working again on our end, and the private labels have been restored, so your downloaded songs should be playing again.
