Many iPhone users have come to appreciate the Quick Action buttons for their ease and rapid accessibility, but this isn’t the case for everyone. Many minimalists have been attempting to get rid of them for a long time.

That’s where iOS developer aJBboCydia’s new and free jailbreak tweak LockScreenHiddenButton comes into play, as it effectively hides the Lock Screen’s camera and flashlight-based Quick Action buttons.

You can see how LockScreenHiddenButton changes the Lock Screen after removing the undesirable Quick Action buttons from visibility in the before (left) and after (right) screenshot samples above.

The finished result is considerably more simple, but you do lose the convenience of being able to toggle the camera or rear-facing LED flashlight on demand without having to do anything else on your phone. Anyone wishing to get rid of those buttons, on the other hand, would have done so.

LockScreenHiddenButton is a free download from the BigBoss repository via any package manager app you might be using on your jailbroken handset if you want to get rid of the Lock Screen’s Quick Action buttons, whether to get them out of the way because of constant accidental toggling or to get a better look at your wallpaper because of your minimalist tendencies.

Do you intend to do rid of the Quick Action buttons, free jailbreak tweak or do they play an important role in your workflow? Please let us know what you think in the comments area below.
