According to the news posted on the Sileo / Taurine / Odyssey Discord channel, the Odyssey Team has most likely uncovered a technique to bypass AppleMobileFileIntegrity (AMFI) on iOS and iPadOS 15.1.

For those unfamiliar, AMFI is a feature of iOS’ code entitlements system that ensures that everything executing on a device is legal and not the consequence of arbitrary operations like a jailbreak.

CoolStar went on to say that people patiently waiting for a suitable firmware should have something to look forward to shortly, albeit there is no clear deadline given, so it could take weeks or months.

CoolStar also stated that this would be the Odyssey Team’s final jailbreak for A12 and newer devices, as anything for iOS & iPadOS 15.2 and newer for such devices would be extremely unlikely given Apple’s security measures.
