The outage has been confirmed on Apple’s System Status website. “Some users are affected,” according to the firm, and they may be “experiencing a difficulty with this service.”

On Tuesday night, iCloud Backup, Mail, and Photos were partially or entirely unavailable for certain customers, according to the website.

The outage started at 6:15 p.m. ET and is still going on. Apple doesn’t provide an expected time for restoring services like this, but we’ll update this post as soon as it does.
