STRCounter allows jailbreakers to quickly determine the number of characters in a given text string
If you’re jailbroken, a useful utility called STRCounter by iOS developer Suguita may be especially beneficial, since it allows the end-user to quickly determine how many characters and lines are present in any string of selected text.
As shown in the screenshots above, STRCounter adds a new option called “Counter” to the selected text menu that, when tapped, brings up a pop-up message validating the selected text and indicating the number of characters and lines it contains.
STRCounter is both convenient and simple to use for those rare occasions when you need to know how many characters are in your body of text. Having said that, it appears to have a potential niche in this group.
If you want to try STRCounter out for yourself, you may get it from Sugiuta’s personal repository for free using your favorite package manager tool. The tweak is compatible with jailbroken iOS and iPadOS 13 and 14.
